APOCALYPTIC LOVERS:

Originally formed in the late 1980s, the Apocalyptic Lovers are a melodic hard rock band from Youngstown, Ohio. Although the members are now scattered across the United States, they reunited in 2016 to release an album, Redemption Volume I, mixed by legendary producer, Michael Wagener. In 2019, the band had an opportunity to play a bucket list gig - opening for one of their greatest influences, Dokken, at the World Famous Whisky A Go Go in Hollywood, CA. As part of the contract for the show, the band hand to sell a number of tickets. The ad campaign which included a concert poster/flyer (boosted on social media), animated GIF, and commercial video helped the band quickly sell out of their tickets, increase their social media following by 8%, boost record sales, and increase number of streams per song.

The commercial video won an industry award for animation at ASU’s Spring 2019 GIT Awards.
